    Thanks for the pictures! I’ve been searching for pics of CM machines a lot. You wouldn’t happen to have some more detailed of the boards? Anyway, GREAT work with the LED panels!

    So, I’m not sure if they’re still there or not, but a call to OSU Surplus (http://surplus.oregonstate.edu/) might be able to get you somewhere. They were selling every circuit board (about 1000 pounds worth) for $750.

    When was that CM-5 last actually in service?

    It must have been installed between 1992 (it was “announced” in 1991) and 1994, when Thinking Machines filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. I’m curious about how long it was used.

    I’m not really sure. It’s a bit before my time, unfortunately. When I started working there it was already turned off.
